Summer Programs

Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre offers programs for all ages during the summer, including a rigorous Summer Intensive program as well as a Children’s Intensive for younger students.

Summer Intensive

ANBT’s Summer Intensive is a program for students age 7-19 who are seriously pursuing an excellent education in dance.

For Intermediate and Advanced students (ages 11 and up) the Summer Intensive will include classes with several renowned instructors. NBT Artistic Director Roy Kaiser will be teaching, as will NBT Company Artists Christina Ghiardi and Steven Goforth. Christina also spends time each summer teaching at SAB. Additionally, this summer will once again feature a special guest instructor from Ballet West. Students participating in ANBT’s Summer Intensive may be selected to participate as Trainees or Apprentices for NBT’s Professional Company for the 2019-20 Season.

ANBT students do not have to audition to be accepted into the Summer Intensive program and should see the front desk for more information.

Students not currently enrolled at ANBT must audition to be accepted into the program. For complete information on auditioning options – including VIDEO AUDITIONS – see the Auditioning tab below.
