A Message from NBT’s Beth Barbre and Roy Kaiser

“Ballet is important and significant – yes. But first of all, it is a pleasure.”
-George Balanchine

Dear Friends of NBT,

We hope this email finds you well and safe during this uncertain time in our world.

While the hustle and bustle of our hallways is on pause, we know in our hearts that our building will once again be filled with dancers of all ages; from our professional company, to our Academy and Education and Outreach students. Challenging moments like this certainly signify the fragility of our world, yet this is undoubtedly the time when we need dance the most. At NBT, we are dedicated to our mission; which gives us hope, lifts our spirits, and motivates us to keep going.

We have a committed staff who is dedicated to moving things forward–because while the world has paused–we won’t; our art form moves on and so will NBT. As we collect our thoughts and redirect our attention to working differently, we are committed to finding creative ways to share the art form of dance with the Las Vegas community and beyond.

NBT’s future is bright, and soon you will be hearing from us on ways you can be a part of that future. We will aim to keep you up to date, while also entertaining you, virtually, with additional content. While we take some time to reset, please accept our best wishes for continued good health.

With Appreciation,

Beth Barbre, Executive Director & CEO
Roy Kaiser, Artistic Director
