From the ballet master who redefined classical ballet, come three of his most iconic works. The celebration begins with his first American ballet, Serenade, featuring a timeless score from Tchaikovsky. Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, the tale of Broadway dreams, Russian dancers and the Mob from the Rodgers & Hart comedy On Your Toes, salutes Balanchine's triumphs on both stage and silver screen. This celebration's finale will uplift and inspire in an energetic tribute to the bubbly Americana songbook of George Gershwin, in Who Cares?

Join us for a truly historic Insights pre-show event at A Balanchine Celebration. We are honored to welcome Mr. Balanchine's longtime personal assistant and founder of his Trust Barbara Horgan for an engaging conversation moderated by famed "Balanchine Ballerina" and Vanity Fair contributing editor Heather Watts. The event begins 45 minutes before curtain in the Troesh Theatre. This Insights program is not to be missed!

Supported by a grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, in honor of Nancy Houssels.

Live music generously sponsored by Doris & Theodore Lee.
