NBT’s Community Education programs impact approximately 20,000 students annually by making the arts a part of their lives. Among NBT’s many programs, children from across Clark County attend free student matinee performances of NBT’s professional company productions, and youth from at-risk communities receive free in-school dance instruction as well as Future Dance scholarships to attend the School of Nevada Ballet Theatre.

Future Dance Program

Since 1993, Future Dance has provided a premier arts education to students from underserved communities. The Go-Move-Dance! program offers free, in-school dance instruction, while the Dance Discovery and the Future Dance Scholar programs give dedicated students training in a more focused atmosphere.

Additional Community Education Programs

NBT also offers a wide variety of educational programs to the Las Vegas community at large, from the adult educational series Insights, to the School Matinee Series and many in-school programs connecting students to the art form of dance.
