Based on William Shakespeare’s enduring classic, NBT transports audiences to 15th Century Verona in this dramatic tale of ill-fated love choreographed by James Canfield. Lush sets and costumes, along with Prokofiev’s evocative score, bring the Montagues and Capulets to life in an emotionally charged storyline. Through comedy and tragedy, movement and miming, feuding families tell the tale of innocent love through street fighting, swordsmanship and traditional court dancing in this riveting full-length ballet.
