For the 2020 Holiday Season Nevada Ballet Theatre and DISCOVERY Children’s Museum joined forces to bring families a one-of-a-kind exhibit, The Nutcracker Extravaganza: Behind the Scenes.

Attendees received an exclusive view of original Nutcracker show elements typically only seen from the stage. From the famous “flying rocking horse” to the well-known Cannon in the Battle Scene, these original set and prop pieces were complemented by a display of over 20 costumes including handmade headpieces, tiaras and wigs worn each year by NBT’s professional company.

Plus, the Let It Snow Nutcracker Photo Experience allowed families to mark the magical occasion with a delightful take-home souvenir, with proceeds going to support NBT’s core mission activities.
