About the Black & White Ball

The Black & White Ball is Nevada Ballet Theatre’s (NBT) largest annual fundraiser and one of the most highly anticipated events of the Las Vegas social season. Attended by hundreds of arts supporters, this formal black-tie affair has honored female icons for over 40 years, including Chita Rivera, Celine Dion, Paula Abdul, Marie Osmond, Priscilla Presley, Eva Longoria, Debbie Allen, Olivia Newton-John, Vanessa Williams, Giada De Laurentiis, Rita Moreno, and Shania Twain, among many others. With a deep commitment to philanthropy, a hallmark of the Woman of the Year honor, these accomplished women are recognized for positively impacting the arts and entertainment industry and often share a special connection to Las Vegas. Proceeds from the event benefit all three areas of the organization, including NBT’s professional company, affiliated School, and Community Education programs.
